Winter for the homeless in Eastern Europe
As you might be aware, Eastern Europe can get pretty chilly with the onset of winter and yesterday saw the first snow fall in Bratislava, making it even more challenging for the homeless.
Unfortunately I broke part of the head of my tripod whilst filming and didn't get much useful footage but here is a quick compilation of what I managed to get.
Divadlo Bez Domova - Old Trailer
This is the original trailer I cut just after filming the documentary. It is not indicative of how the documentary has turned out, however I posted it here for posterity.
Ojos de Brujo
Filmed at the Pohoda Festival 2009, this was intended to be part of a larger journalistic piece, reporting on the festival, interviewing artists and musicians for http://www.iofusiontv.com/
Tragedy struck at the festival due to a freak storm which saw 2 stages destroyed, many injured people and sadly one mortality. The festival was cancelled so I made this video from the little that I had filmed at this point. I used this as an editing test as I filmed with only one camera but have attempted to make it appear as if it was a multi camera shoot.
A Day in the Life of Dj Rif Raf
I had just bought a new camera and wanted to test it out with a simple project. I was passing through my old home town of Sydney Australia and was catching up with my friend Rafael Gimelstein. He showed me some home videos he shot during a recent trip to Israel, Prague and Lithuania. I spent a day with him in Sydney, combining his footage with an interview and put this little piece together just for fun. Parental discretion advised.
Kyoko Fujimoto - Harpsichord Performance
This is just a little video I edited for a Japanese friend of mine playing the Harpsichord. Beautiful looking and sounding instrument, especially this particular one.
Summer Dreaming Festival 2002
This is one of the music festivals I used to organise with my partner in ArtCore. Excuse the quality, I didn't film it and I only had a vhs copy... eek!!!
